With all of the different articles and recommendation groups floating around on the Internet, vitamin D recommendations can become confusing. Luckily, we’re here to help. While we here at Ddrops cannot recommend dosing to your specific needs, we can provide you with the dosing information specifically for adults from a group here in the United States.
The Institute of Medicine recommends that all adults receive a daily vitamin D supplement of 600 IU a day. This dose of the vitamin should begin at age one and continue until age eight. Below is a summary of current vitamin D recommendations from US expert groups:
